Infants and Young Toddlers: Early Literacy Now!

Adults in infants’ and young toddlers’ lives play a critical role in helping their children develop their language and early literacy, the first steps toward becoming a reader.

This workshop introduces library staff to the importance of starting early to support language acquisition, the fundamentals of brain and language development, and how to inspire and model for adults strategies supporting that development while they talk, sing, read, write and play together.
